This chilli oil took me 30 minutes to make and cost less than $11 to make more than TRIPLE the amount I would buy from the shops! Making your own chilli oil at home also allows you to change the flavours to suit your taste. You can make it more or less spicy, add different aromatics or even make it for a specific dish.
