Honey BBQ chicken pita tacos with smokey BBQ slaw and a zesty BBQ mayo. Easy, delicious, high in protein and ready in just 20 minutes, what more could you want!? They didn’t have any cabbage so I picked up a smokey BBQ slaw mix which was perfect for this dish. But feel free to pair this with any slaw or salad of your choosing. Ingredients for 2: 300g chicken breast, cubed 1 tbsp olive oil Fresh parsley (to serve) Lime (to serve) Marinade: 1/3 cup smokey BBQ sauce 2 tsp honey
1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp cajun (or chilli powder) Salt Flatbread: 75g greek yogurt 75g self-raising flour 1/2 tsp oregano 1/2 tsp garlic powder Salt Zesty BBQ mayo: 1 tbsp mayo 1 tbsp smokey BBQ sauce 1 tbsp lime juice Method: 1. Combine the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl. 2. Add the diced chicken and stir until evenly coated. 3. Place chicken onto a lined baking tray and air fry at 180 degrees (350F) for 8 minutes. 4. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the slaw and the zesty BBQ mayo. 5. In a seperate bowl, combine the ingredients for the flatbread. Feel free to season this however you like. 6. Bring it together in the bowl before bringing it out onto a floured surface and kneading until smooth. 7. Cut the dough into two and roll the flatbreads out until they are the size of a side plate. 8. In a pan on medium heat with olive oil, cook the flatbreads ensuring you brush it with olive oil before flipping. 9. Assemble your tacos how you please topping with fresh parsley and enjoy! #honeybbqchicken #chickenrecipe #DinnerIdeas #EasyRecipes #quickrecipes
