20 minute meals under $20 Ep 6. Chicken caesar wraps. Ingredients: 500g chicken breast 2 tbsp olive oil 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp Italian herbs 4 rashers bacon 1 cos heart Shaved parmesan Caesar dressing Wraps Salt and pepper Method: 1. Cut your chicken breast in half length ways. Cover both fillets with cling wrap and beat/tenderise until the thickness is relatively even throughout. 2. Season the chicken however you please. The seasonings listed above is what I used but feel free to use whatever you have at home already. 3. In a pan on medium heat with olive oil, cook the fillets. This should take approx 4 minutes on each side. 4. Once cooked, remove from the pan and allow to rest. 5. Discard majority of the oil before adding the bacon into the same pan and cooking to your desired crispiness. 6. Once bacon is cooked, remove from pan and allow to cool with the breast. 7. Cut and wash your lettuce before dressing with caesar, salt and pepper. If you plan on taking these to work, put the dressing in a container to have on the side to prevent the wrap from going soggy. I also made my own caesar dressing using everything I had at home already (minus anchovies) but I have included the cost of buying a pre-made dressing anyway (otherwise it wouldn’t be fair, duh). 8. Assemble your wrap with the lettuce, chicken, bacon and parmesan. Wrap, cut and enjoy! Price breakdown: Chicken breast: $4.97 Bacon: $1.97 Caesar dressing: $3 Lettuce: $2.50 Wraps: $2.50 Parmesan: $3.5 = $18.44 #20minutemeals #chickencaesar #chickencaesarwrap #quickrecipes #lunchideas #quicklunch #EasyRecipe #quickmeals #cheapeats #cheapmeals #cookingonabudget #budgetmeals #20dollarmealchallenge
