COMMON REASONS WHY BABY IS CRYING: 1. HUNGER - Hearing a cry that sounds a lot like a siren may be a hint that they’re hungry. Another hint is if they are putting their hands to their mouth or turning their head towards a bottle.  2. DIRTY DIAPERS - If a baby’s cry sounds rather whiny and nasal, and persists for a long while, chances are they’re crying over a dirty diaper. 3. TIRED OR SLEEPY - They get really stressed when they end up not sleeping. Yawning and rubbing their eyes may be supporting cues to a tired crying baby. 4. DISCOMFORT - While they can get uncomfortable easily, it’s still hard to tell where their discomfort is really coming from.
