We checked out one of the most unexpected kid-friendly experiences in Colorado… and I’m still not over it! ⚡️

The Behind the Web Tarantula Experience at butterflypavilion is equal parts fascinating, educational, and kind of magical 🪄

You don’t just look at tarantulas - you get an up-close, guided experience where you learn their behaviors, observe their anatomy (yes, molts + fangs 👀), and meet multiple species including baby tarantulas like Chilean Rose Hairs (“Rosie”), Brazilian Blacks, and Chaco Golden Knees (“Goldie”).

You’ll also see species like the Antilles Pink Toe, Texas Brown, and even the Goliath Birdeater up close 🤯

What I love most? This experience brings back tarantula encounters in a more sustainable, animal-first way - prioritizing their wellbeing while still giving guests a really special, hands-on way to learn.

And honestly… my 3-year-old thought this was the coolest thing ever.

📆 Behind the Web opens to the public Saturday, July 25
⏰ Future time slots: Thursday-Sunday at 9:15 AM

What to know ⬇️
✨ $45 per guest (includes general admission)
✨ Limited availability
✨ Designed for ages 3+
✨ Small, guided, up-close experience
✨ ~30 minutes long

If you’re looking for something totally unique (and maybe a little outside your comfort zone 👀)… this is it 👏

Save this for later + send it to your brave little animal lovers 🕷️✨🕸️
