## Caption

Christopher Nolan's Memento was born on a cross-country road trip, when his brother Jonathan joined him as he was moving to Los Angeles and pitched him the idea along the way. By the time they arrived, the entire story had been worked out between them in the car. Jonathan later turned it into a short story called "Memento Mori," but it wasn't published until after the film was already complete, which is why Christopher's screenplay is still classified as original rather than adapted. #Memento #GuyPearce #Movies #MovieClips
