## Caption

One of the best ways to understand a city is to see it like nature. Buildings tell a story—like fossils—and accessory commercial units are the transitional fossils of urban change. They show a neighborhood adapting to what people actually need. I found one along Cambridge Street in Boston. If it helps a world-class city evolve, maybe it’s time we let our own “dead zones” come back to life too. #urbanism #boston #acu #architecture #cityplanning
