Seriously tho, throwing down a pre-emergent like Barricade DG is a great way to jump start lawn season so you can focus on feeding the grass and laying stripes!! When it comes to feeding your grass, I like to start the season with a slow-release fertilizer. Milorganite has gotten too expensive for what it is and I’m trying some PGF fertilizer while waiting for my soil test results for guide the rest of my fertility program this spring and summer! I’ve been using products from @Andersons Lawn for years and I’ve teamed up with them this year!
