⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional cuisine that is worth a special journey Ask any chef if they know what the Michelin Guide is & they all would tell you “OF COURSE!” followed by the significance & impact it has for any chef & any restaurant!  The Guide & its coveted Stars (1,2 & 3) are something that everyone who cooks wants to achieve & be apart of! The Guide is also where everyone who loves to eat wants to follow & check off. As someone who has worked in some of the worlds top Michelin restaurants, I know how much pressure, passion & sacrifice it takes to strive, earn & protect those stars.  Last week at the second ever Michelin Guide Toronto 2023 Reveal party, I was given the opportunity to not only attend but to be apart of the celebration showcasing my knifeskills, being able to perform with thee Michelin Man & with the many guests of the evening! I can’t even even begin to convey how humbling, grateful & honoured it is to be given this opportunity. As someone who has not cooked in restaurants for over a decade; to be acknowledged by the Michelin body, fellow chefs & the industry as a whole, as someone worthy to be part of the biggest celebration for our industry is something I’ll always cherish & hold tight to my heart. Ever since leaving working behind the line, I try & have really enjoyed showing & sharing to the world that being a “chef” doesn’t necessarily only mean you must be in kitchen.  The chef lifestyle isn’t only what Anthony Bourdain described in Kitchen Confidential, that there is way more to being a chef; we don’t “just cook”, we are versatile, we have other interests, we can live a healthy lifestyle & we can do anything we want ALL while being able making some delicious food! Thank you @Michelin & @Destination Toronto for this unforgettable memory & for celebrating the talent & food culture of Toronto!
