40 YEARS of That’s Entertainment! Grabe… where did the time go?! 😂❤️ Last October 16, nagkita-kita ulit kami at Viva Cafe in Cubao to celebrate 40 years since That’s Entertainment first aired on GMA back in 1986! These reunions have become somewhat of a yearly thing for us lately, pero iba pa rin yung feeling of seeing old friends, especially those we haven’t seen in YEARS! Ang sarap mag-catch up, magkuwentuhan, at balikan ang mga kalokohan namin noon. Hahaha! May kanya-kanya na kaming buhay, marami na ring nagbago (pati mga itsura namin, syempre! 😂), pero yung kakulitan? Nandun pa rin! Parang bumalik lang kami sa pagkabata, kahit ilang oras lang. So nice to see some of our longtime choreographers and dancers there too! And since may stage ang venue, aba, may games, impromptu performances, kantahan, tawanan, at kung anu-ano pang kalokohan. Very That’s Entertainment! Hahaha! And to everyone who grew up watching us, may mga exciting plans din po kaming pinag-uusapan at inihahanda para sa inyo. Abangan po niyo! 😉 On a more personal note, I think I can speak for my fellow That’s Entertainment family when I say that we’ll always be grateful to Kuya Germs for bringing us all together and creating a show that was truly one of a kind. For ten years, from 1986 to 1996, That’s Entertainment became such a huge part of our lives. We practically grew up together on that show. We learned, laughed, cried, made mistakes, chased dreams, and formed friendships that have lasted all these years. But what makes it even more special is knowing that the show also became part of so many people’s childhoods and memories. An entire generation grew up watching That’s Entertainment. And even after all these decades, ang dami pa ring nakakaalala, nakakakilala, at nagkukuwento sa amin about their favorite moments from the show. Nakakataba ng puso, sobra. ❤️ To everyone who watched, supported, and grew up with us, thank you for keeping those memories alive. And to Kuya Germs… thank you for giving us something that went way beyond a TV show. You gave us a family, memories we’ll always treasure, and friendships that continue to bring us together even 40 years later.
