Mecca is getting some backlash due to allegedly selling expired makeup products during their Boxing Day Sales with some shoppers stating their received items with mould, bugs and even rat faeces.  Shoppers have been checking batch codes to see when products were manufactured as most unopened beauty products have a shelf life 3 years. Batch codes and expiry dates are also different so if you’re unsure, reach out to the brand as third party batch code sites can be unreliable as a source of information.
