$12 Kmart “Dupe” vs. $120 Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation👇: 
PACKAGING & BRANDING: ⭐️⭐️/5 First up, Kmart is obviously trying to show this is a dupe for the Luminous Silk given the packaging and naming. I’m not the biggest fan of this technique when it comes to “duping” because at the end of the day, someone worked hard to ideate the original packaging/naming and piggy backing on that kind of rubs me the wrong way. I’m all for affordable options, but love when brands make it in their own style.  INGREDIENTS & FORMULA: ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 While both foundations are conceptually similar (delivering a luminous, buildable coverage with a smooth, silicone-rich texture) their ingredient formulations are not identical. The Armani version includes more premium/proprietary texturising agents and fragrance, whereas OXX offers a simpler formulation with added tocopherol and no listed parabens, making it more budget-conscious and potentially more sensitive-skin-friendly. If your concern is between budget vs. prestige, you’ll likely get a somewhat comparable finished look, but the Armani formula has more refined emollients and fragrance/preservation ingredients that distinguish it. INCLUSIVITY: ⭐️/5 The Giorgio Armani foundation offers 40 different foundation shades vs. the Kmart Foundation offering 12 with majority skewing towards light shades so would love to see Kmart extend the range to be more inclusive. FINISH & WEAR: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 I don’t think these are EXACTLY the same but they’re pretty damn close. Given that one of these items is also $12, I think that speaks volumes.  Both foundations wore well for over an 8 hour day at work and look stunning. The main notable differences was that the $120 GA foundation was more blurring and less “glowy” whereas the $12 Kmart foundation was more luminous in my opinion and felt more like my skin but better. Finally, It’s important to note everyone’s skin is different so what I like in a foundation on my skin may be different to others.
