Not me hurting my own feelings today 🥺🫠 

To be completely transparent, the transition from 1 to 2 kids this year has been amazing in so many ways but also extremely challenging at times. Have I thought to myself “can we just fast forward a bit to get out of this tough season of life” at one point or another? Yes. Have I also thought “man, I can’t believe they won’t always be this little”? Absolutely. 

I think as a mom it’s valid for both of these thoughts to coexist and live together at the same time. It doesn’t make us bad moms - it makes us human, doing one of the toughest jobs on the planet. We recognize the hard times and the magical moments together in harmony. There can be beauty in things changing and there can also be deep sadness that comes with that too.
