In a recent interview with The Sun about the very public feud between #BrooklynPeltzBeckham and his parents David and Victoria Beckham, longtime family friend Gordon Ramsay weighed in with both concern and advice. Ramsay was asked about the rift that followed Brooklyn’s explosive Instagram statement accusing his family of undermining his marriage to Nicola Peltz Beckham and even alleging his mother “hijacked” his first dance at their wedding,  a claim Ramsay disputed, saying he saw “nothing salacious” or inappropriate and that “everyone was having fun … having a dance.”  Ramsay stressed he still cares about Brooklyn and values his relationship with him…  “Brooklyn and I have messaged a little bit; our relationship is solid. I love him, his heart is incredible”,  but also offered a frank perspective on the emotional intensity of young love: “It’s hard, isn’t it? When you’re infatuated? Love is blind … he’s desperate to stand on his own two feet, he’s desperate to forge his own way, and I respect that.” At the same time he urged Brooklyn to think long-term and not lose sight of his roots: “But remember where you came from. And honestly, one day you’re not going to have your mum and dad, and you need to understand that.” He added a reminder of the support Brooklyn received growing up: “And remember: you’re half mum, half dad … they’ve done more for you than anyone did in your entire life.” Ramsay’s comments came amid wider coverage of the Beckham family feud and appear to be intended as tough-love advice.. one that Brooklyn responded to by reportedly unfollowing Ramsay on Instagram.
