the trauma of viet names 🥲 I used to be so embarrassed by my name growing up but now it’s one of my favourite things about me. I would always ‘westernise’ my name or tell people it’s ’Dan’ to avoid the confusion or awkwardness but now I proudly will correct people when they mispronounce it #vietnamese #viet #vietnames #culture
