I promise I’m not crying 😭😭 I’m honoured to be part of @IT Cosmetics’s celebrating REAL skin and embracing all of our ‘flaws’.  Growing up, I suffered from severe eczema (to the point where my mum had to glad wrap me to sleep so I wouldn’t itch) and spent several years of my life in and out of specialist dermatologist appointments in the hopes to cure it. It wasn’t until I started going to school when I became aware that my skin was different. I used to be bullied so much because I constantly had rashes all over my body and a perpetually red face, and then I started using social media… the constant comparison as a teenager took its toll on me but then I found my love makeup.  Through this, I reclaimed my power and slowly, but surely began my journey with self love and acceptance with my skin, sexuality and cultural identity.  To be part of this campaign is so much more than just seeing my face in @SEPHORA AUS + NZ aross Australia; it’s a reminder that there’s NOTHING wrong with who I am. This is for every young, queer Asian kid out there who feels like they’re not good enough… I see you, I love you, and you’re so much more than the labels society puts on you.
