Sate Lilit (Balinese Satay)🇮🇩 In Indonesia, there are many different types of satay with different variations of spices & sauces. Sate Lilit is originated from Bali and while you can use other meat like chicken & beef, but fish is the most common protein used🐟 What’s the meaning of sate lilit? It’s translated to ‘wrapped satay’ which means the meat is wrapped to the stick - traditionally lemongrass or sugar cane sticks. It’s not the easiest to make as it requires so much ingredients and take so much time to prepare & cook, now we all know😅 Thanks to 📍Salt and Palm to show us how to make sate lilit!
