A new, experimental skin cancer vaccine by the US company Moderna has had positive results in a late-stage trial. The mRNA vaccine, given to patients already diagnosed with melanoma, was given in conjunction with an immunotherapy drug and was shown to reduce the spread and recurrence of melanoma.
