A realistic #dayinmylife as a #nightshiftnurse . Many people can’t bear the thought of working nights, and it’s totally understandable. Going back and forth with your sleep schedule and messing with your circadian rhythm can take a huge toll on your mental and physical health.   Will I be doing night shift forever? Definitely not. But for the mean time, I do my best to take care of my body by allowing myself to sleep in all day if I want to and call out of work for a “mental health day” when I need to.   I love my lazy days off, but sometimes, it can be a bit lonely when my boyfriend is away bc I don’t really have much friends in this new city that I just moved into.
