Former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries has recently been arrested and charged with running a prostitution and international sex trafficking business, but this isn’t the first time A&F has made controversial headlines. The clothing brand has faced many allegations of discrimination, racism & fatphobia over the years, but now the ex-boss has been accused of using his wealth, power and status "to traffic men for his own sexual pleasure" and for the pleasure of his partner. Both Mr Jeffries and his partner have previously denied any wrongdoing to the BBC via their lawyers. Their lawyers told the BBC they will respond to all allegations “after the indictment is unsealed”. Mr Jefferies left Abercrombie and Fitch in 2014.
