Sam Bankman-Fried, a former crypto entrepreneur, has been found guilty of fraud after a month-long trial in New York.  After his crypto exchange went bankrupt last year, he was arrested in the Bahamas and ordered to stay at his parents’ house in California.  But his behaviour and communications resulted in the judge concluding he was trying to influence the trial - leading to him being jailed in August.
