Possible reasons your makeup looks cakey ⬇️⬇️⬇️ 1. Unrealistic expectations - dont hold your self to what you see online - everything online has been enhanced either via lighting, camera quality, post processing, a team of hair and makeup artists or even filters - if the skin looks so good its unreal, it probably is!  2. Skin prep/ condition  - if ur skin isn’t hydrated enough, everything u put on it will cake - be wary of acne medications as they can cause dry patches, hydrate those areas more  - on the other hand, too much skin prep/hydration can also cause caking - best to let hydrating products marinate on the skin and dab off whatever’s not been absorbed - pay attention to where your skin needs more/less hydration and adjust your prep accordingly  3. Product issue - some products will cake no matter what - some products will cake on you specifically no matter what - accept that some formulas wont work on you  - best to explore products and test them out before purchasing 4. Application - if u over apply, it will most likely cake - if u powder too much, it will most likely cake - if u powder with too little, it can lead to caking too once oils peek through - some products dont cake when applied with a sponge, but do cake with a brush and vice versa, best to explore what works best for your products, fingers generally work the best 5. Longevity  - no matter how good the makeup is, at some point it will really cake or oil up, it’s makeup - best to learn how to retouch properly so you can always keep the caking at bay any time #missnatemakeup #makeuptutorial #makeupph #skincare
