When James was little, he remembers getting upset and deciding to run away from home. But it wasn't just frustration that pushed him out the door. It was also his imagination, curiosity, and desire to explore the world. Eventually, fear brought him back to the place where he felt safest - HOME. Years later, he reimagined that memory as an animated adventure featuring our son. 🎬 BEHIND THE ANIMATION Although this film was created with the assistance of AI, it was far from a one-click creation. James spent over 10+ hours developing the concept, planning scenes, refining visuals, and working to maintain consistency throughout the story, this was all done in 2 weeks. He created individual scenes in approximately 10-second segments, carefully edited them together, and added music, graphic overlays, and sound effects—including sounds recorded from our real family life. Every creative decision was made to bring this childhood memory to life in a way that felt personal and meaningful. For us, this is more than just an animated short film.
