🏆 Riddell Sports Player of the Game 🏆

History was made Friday night in Haymarket. Freshman quarterback Anthony Mallory helped lead the Patriot Pioneers to a gritty 14–7 road win over the Battlefield Bobcats, snapping Battlefield’s 48-game regular season win streak and securing Patriot’s first regular season victory over their rival since 2019.

Mallory accounted for both of Patriot’s touchdowns — one passing and one rushing — and delivered several key throws throughout the night. Backed by a relentless defensive effort, the freshman’s composure and playmaking helped the Pioneers take down one of the top programs in Virginia.

Anthony Mallory becomes the first freshman ever to earn our Player of the Game honors, presented by riddellsports. 👏
