## Caption

A tiny rescue foal has been named after Ricky Gervais after the comedian donated £100,000 to a donkey charity near Haywards Heath 🫏🤍 The newborn donkey, called Gervais, was born at the Safe Haven for Donkeys sanctuary following the comic’s huge contribution to the charity’s work. The charity said the name felt like a fitting tribute to the comedian and animal lover, whose donations have helped support rescue animals across the UK and abroad. Safe to say it’s probably the only time someone’s been called an ass and taken it as a compliment. Ricky Gervais has donated more than £2.4 million to animal charities in recent months. 📸 Sussex News and Pictures #rickygervais #afterlife #animals
