## Caption

This all started because of a PINT. In the 70s a regular at the local pub was told he’d get a free pint if he got to the other side of the river. And it spawned THIS. £50,000 raised for charity. 20,000 spectators. Only in Britain, eh. @Mikey Olympitis | Journalist went to check it out. Huge thanks to Joel Hicks for being part of the video - go and have a look at his charity ‘Always With A Smile’!! #maldonmudrace #tradition #essex #uknews #onlyinbritain
