Sir Jim Ratcliffe, founder of the INEOS chemicals group and part-owner of Manchester United said the UK has been 'colonised' by immigrants. Speaking to Sky's Ed Conway, Ratcliffe, who is a resident of Monaco, added that Keir Starmer may not be the right man for Prime Minister. Reacting to the remarks, Starmer responded, saying the comments were "offensive and wrong". The Office for National Statistics (ONS) estimates that the population of the UK was 67 million in mid-2020 and 70 million in mid-2024. #jimratcliffe #uk #manutd
