Someone call the food police. @georgiahughesfood just merged two Chinese classics into one outrageously good toastie. Serves 2 Total time: 25 mins Ingredients For the filling 200g prawns, minced 2cm piece fresh ginger, grated 1 clove garlic, grated Small handful coriander, chopped 1 tsp soy sauce 1 tbsp oyster sauce ½ tsp white pepper 1 tsp fish sauce For the rest 1 egg 4 tbsp black and white sesame seeds 100g crispy seaweed 4 slices of burger cheese (or cheese alternative) 4 slices white bread 1 tbsp sesame oil Sweet chilli sauce Method 1. In a bowl, combine the minced prawns, ginger, garlic, coriander, soy sauce, oyster sauce, white pepper, and fish sauce 2. Spread a generous layer of the prawn mixture on one slice of bread. Then add two slices of cheese in the middle and top with a layer of crispy seaweed. Lightly press down on the sandwich 3. Beat the egg in a bowl and dip the sandwich, coating both sides. Press each side into a plate of black and white sesame seeds 4. Heat 1 tbsp sesame oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the sandwich on both sides until golden and crisp for 2-3 mins 5. Toast in an air fryer at 190°C for 7 minutes, until the outside is crispy and golden, and the inside is hot and cooked through 6. Serve with sweet chilli sauce #prawntoast #seaweed #snackideas
