## Caption

"The loss was immense… waking up that morning to realise she was never coming home" Denise Morgan was 11 years old when her younger sister Annette died in the Aberfan disaster. Denise had just started the grammar school in the next village. On 21st October 1966 she was called to an assembly and sent home. She found out the next day that her sister had passed. She is now calling for all coal tips to be removed to give those affected 'some sense of relief' Explore the Aberfan collection on #BBCSounds #RadioWales
