Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has announced that NHS England will be abolished to reduce bureaucracy and bring the health service back under direct government control. NHS England, which manages healthcare services across England, will be reintegrated to streamline management, reduce duplication, and direct more funding toward nurses and frontline care. Starmer emphasized that this move will improve patient care and reduce waste. The decision comes just a month after NHS England chief Amanda Pritchard resigned. Starmer stated, “I’m bringing management of the NHS back into democratic control” #keirstarmer #uknews #labour #worldnews #nhs #nhsuk
