5 Lessons We Learned as  First-Time Homeowner 🏡✨ 1.) It’s hella EXPENSIVE. 💸 kahit gano kalaki budget mo, laging may lalabas na bagong gastos. From cleaning materials to government files, it costs so much when you add them all up.  2.) Buy for security first, not furnitures. 🔐 I read it somewhere and somehow it made sense. Alarms, locks, CCTV, unahin mo yung peace of mind bago furnitures. We’re still looking for electric fence supplier hehe!  3) It’s OKAY to build slowly. 🛋️ tip din samin to live in the house first before we buy items so we know what we want and don’t want about the house first before starting the renovation. 4.) Prioritize what you’ll use daily. Wag ma-pressure to fill every corner right away kasi more than the amount, parang mas okay to invest in high quality that you will use for years vs settle on cheaper items just to fill the house fast. Kaya wala pa din kaming sofa and dining chairs! 😆 5.) Don’t compare your timeline to others. ⏰ May kanya-kanyang pace and priorities esp w home ownership, what matters is your home feels like yours.  #firsttimehomeowners
