A new rescue foal has been named after Ricky Gervais following a £100,000 donation to a donkey sanctuary near Haywards Heath 🫏 The donkey, born at the Safe Haven for Donkeys charity, was named Gervais in tribute to the comedian after his significant contribution helped support ongoing rescue and care work for animals in the UK and abroad. The organisation said the name was a fitting nod to a long term supporter of animal welfare. Gervais has now donated more than £2.4 million to animal charities in recent months, with his latest contribution helping fund the care of rescued donkeys and other vulnerable animals. #ThisIsMoney #Money #News #UK #RickyGervais
