Avatar has officially become the highest-grossing movie trilogy of all time. With a combined global box office total of £6.49 billion, James Cameron’s Avatar trilogy has surpassed every other three-film franchise in history — including Star Wars, Jurassic World, and Spider-Man. Despite releasing its films more than a decade apart, the franchise has maintained massive worldwide appeal, driven by groundbreaking visual effects, immersive world-building, and consistent international performance. Each Avatar instalment has averaged nearly £1.41 billion at the box office — a level of consistency no other trilogy has matched. As future sequels remain in development, the franchise’s lead may continue to grow, further cementing Avatar as the most commercially successful trilogy ever released. #Avatar #AvatarWayOfWater #AvatarFireAndAsh #Money #Cinema
