## Caption

President Donald Trump said Rep. Ilhan Omar could face jail amid an investigation into her U.S. immigration records. The investigation is examining whether Omar or her relatives provided false information during their immigration or citizenship process. Omar has denied any wrongdoing, calling the investigation an act of ‘political intimidation.’ The case has raised concerns that the Trump administration is targeting political opponents ahead of the election. Omar was 12 when her family arrived in the United States in 1995 after fleeing civil war in Somalia and spending years at a refugee camp in Kenya. She became a naturalized citizen in 2000. #usa #ilhanomar #trump #news
