## Caption

A colorful aurora illuminated the sky over Rovaniemi in Finnish Lapland. The aurora was captured by a local photographer, who said the display was the strongest since a similar geomagnetic storm in January 2026. Auroras were spotted as far south as Italy, Corsica and Ukraine, while in Rovaniemi on Finland's Arctic Circle, the skies remained illuminated for hours. The display intensified three times, with vivid green and red auroras clearly visible to the naked eye. #arctic #aurora #finland #nature
