SEGA has teased Metal Sonic as the next character coming to Fortnite, revealing the crossover during its Sonic the Hedgehog 35th anniversary livestream, Sonic Club Chaos. A brief teaser showed the robotic clone’s eyes glowing red, hinting at his upcoming Battle Royale debut. Created by Dr. Eggman, Metal Sonic is expected to join Fortnite as part of SEGA’s continuing collaboration with Epic Games. An exact release date has not been announced, but the character could arrive ahead of Sonic the Hedgehog 4, which hits cinemas on March 19, 2027.
