Rockstar has confirmed that GTA 6 won’t have its own versions of Florida’s top attractions, like Disney World or Universal Studios in Orlando. The game looks to draw heavy inspiration from the state of Florida, returning to Vice City which has always been the series’ Miami-style location, and reimagining other iconic parts of the state like the Florida Keys. But the studio revealed in recent coverage by Game Informer that not everything can be recreated in-game. ‘We have to constantly evaluate the diversity of landscapes, towns, structures, landmarks, vistas, plant species, rock formations, and everything else before we work with design and narrative to distill a list down that best works with and serves the game’s needs,’ said Rockstar senior vice president of environment art, Paul MacPherson. ‘So, while we may not have those exact locations, everything we have is geared to getting that full Florida experience!’ While no GTA version of Mickey Mouse will be roaming around an in-game theme park, GTA 6 still seems poised to offer players a loaded environment full of activities outside of the main missions. #gta #gaming #disneyworld #rockstar
