## Caption

U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order calling for fewer childhood vaccinations, limiting the recommended schedule to 11 immunizations. The order also recommends splitting the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine into three separate shots given at different medical visits. Public health experts say the existing schedule is based on decades of evidence showing that vaccines protect children from serious illness and death. They warn that reducing the recommended vaccinations could leave more children vulnerable to preventable diseases. #trump #vaccine #usa
