Dan Clancy, the CEO of Twitch, has said that GTA 6 Online will be launching ‘next year,’ which he learned after he ‘spent a lot of time talking with Rockstar about their plans.’ The news comes via Clancy’s recent interview with Bloomberg at Tokyo Game Show, and offers the first significant news on the GTA Online follow-up since GTA 6’s announcement. ‘You are going to see this big bump with GTA 6, but then an even bigger one next year when they launch multiplayer,’ said Clancy. Rockstar, however, have revealed no information on GTA 6’s online component so far. GTA Online, which launched just a few weeks after GTA 5, has been extremely profitable for Rockstar Games and Take Two well into the current generation of consoles.
