The Metal Gear Solid series’ iconic box is being turned into an accessory for your cat. It’s highly unlikely that your cat will appreciate the significance of the box being Metal Gear Solid-themed, but it’s just one piece of themed pet merch that Konami are rolling out. Konami announced an official line of Metal Gear Solid cat merchandise that’ll be available exclusively at CatCon 2026 to tie in with the launch of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2. The items will also be available through the OKS Gear Shop during the CatCon period, but the MGS Scratch box is available for preorder now. It costs $59.99, however, which is a lot of money for a cardboard box that your cat will rip up. #gaming #metalgearsolid #cat #konami
