Jenna Ortega has clarified that her departure from 'Scream 7' was not due to pay or scheduling conflicts, but stemmed from significant behind-the-scenes changes, including the exit of directors Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, as well as co-star Melissa Barrera's firing. Ortega expressed that continuing without the original creative team didn't feel like the right professional move. She also emphasized her desire to pursue original stories and collaborate with new directors. #scream7 #screammovie #scream #screamfranchise #scream6 #jennaortega #horror #horrortok
