Spiders, the studio behind GreedFall, has confirmed it is shutting down and ceasing operations immediately.  Founded in 2008, the French developer built a name for itself in the mid-budget RPG space, with GreedFall selling over two million copies in its first three years.  Its parent company, Nacon, reportedly filed for insolvency and attempted to sell the studio, but no buyer was found.  As a result, Spiders is being liquidated and will no longer support its games directly.  The planned DLC for GreedFall: The Dying World will still release through Nacon as one final project.  After that, the studio says it’s the end of the road for one of gaming’s notable AA developers. #greedfall #gaming #rpggame
