Team Cherry has announced a free Hollow Knight: Silksong expansion called Sea of Sorrow, set to release in 2026. The DLC is described as nautically themed, with a brief teaser showing Hornet standing against crashing waves, though further details were not shared. Alongside the expansion, Team Cherry confirmed it is developing a Nintendo Switch 2 version of the original Hollow Knight. This upgraded edition will feature improved performance and visuals to match Silksong’s Switch 2 release. The Switch 2 upgrade will be free for players who already own Hollow Knight on the original Switch. Both the expansion and the upgraded version are currently targeting a broad 2026 launch window. #hollowknight #silksong #gaming
