Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 sales are down by 61% compared to Black Ops 6 sales. In a year stacked with great FPS games and extraction shooters, Black Ops 7 appears to be struggling to find its footing. Amidst its controversial use of AI and a poorly-received Campaign, the game has seemingly struggled to achieve the same success as last year’s Call of Duty installment, Black Ops 6. According to Game Business’ Christopher Dring, Black Ops 7 has had a smaller UK physical launch compared to Battlefield 6 when looking at physical sales. As players move more towards digital purchases, physical sales will naturally decline, but the difference between Black Ops 7 physical sales and Black Ops 6 is a 61% drop. The game has fared better on PlayStation, being listed as the second best-selling game on the UK store, according to Game Central.
