Paramount’s Call of Duty live-action movie has found its director and writer. The studio revealed that Peter Berg (Lone Survivor, Deepwater Horizon, Battleship) will direct, as well as produce and co-write the movie alongside Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan. David Glasser has also been announced as a producer. A press release revealed that the two are longtime friends and have collaborated in the past on projects such as Hell or High Water. The film was nominated for four Academy Awards back in 2017, including a Best Original Screenplay nomination for Sheridan. No timeline for the Call of Duty movie has been revealed just yet, and there’s still little information on the direction it’ll take. Since its launch back in 2003, the series has spanned the historical warzones of World War 2, the Cold War, and taken fights to a distant sci-fi future. Regardless of the setting, both Sheridan and Berg are no strangers to military works, so the film could be in safe hands. #cod #gamingnews #yellowstonetv #filmtok #callofdutymobile
