Lenovo has cancelled some pre-orders of its new Legion Go 2 handheld gaming PC placed directly on its website after demand “substantially exceeded projections.” While units are shipping to major retailers worldwide, the company admitted it could not fulfill every direct order. Lenovo apologized to affected customers, saying it doesn’t “believe in holding onto customer payments for products we can’t ship in a timely manner.” Frustrated buyers have criticized the move, questioning why third-party retailers are being prioritized and why no compensation has been offered. Lenovo acknowledged it “messed up this time” and promised to improve its process going forward. It remains unclear when Lenovo.com will restock or how long customers will have to wait for new availability. #lenovo #gaming #techtok #legiongo
