The only sausage roll you’ll need for the perfect picnic ☀️ Recipe below ⬇️ 300g pack Tesco Plant Chef meat-free Cumberland sausages 3 tbsp Tesco sandwich pickle 60g Tesco extra mature Cheddar cheese, grated 320g pack Tesco Finest ready rolled all butter puff pastry 1 Tesco medium egg, beaten 1 tbsp Tesco nigella seeds 1 tbsp Tesco sesame seeds Tesco piccalilli, to serve (optional) 1. Preheat the oven to gas 6, 200°C, fan 180°C. 2. Remove the casings from the sausages and transfer to a bowl, along with the sandwich pickle and Cheddar. Mix with your hands until well combined. 3. Roll out the puff pastry and form the filling in a log shape down the middle of the pastry, lengthways. Fold one end of the pastry over and onto each other, and crimp the edges of the pastry using a fork to seal it together. 4. Brush all over with the beaten egg and sprinkle over the nigella seeds and sesame seeds. Cut into 4 even sausage rolls and place on a lined baking tray.. 5. Bake for 25 minutes until golden. 6. Serve with piccalilli or your favourite condiment of choice. #SausageRolls #PiccalilliRecipe #PicnicFood
