Leaks suggest Sonic and Shadow are coming to Fortnite, but not as full skins. Dataminer Wenso uncovered files hinting at new Kicks themed after the two hedgehogs, seemingly tied to Puma’s upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog collection launching October 30th. The crossover would follow Fortnite’s existing partnerships with Nike, Adidas, Vans, and Puma, which have all released in-game sneakers. Puma’s physical collection also includes Tails-themed shoes, though these haven’t been spotted in Fortnite’s files yet. Fans hoping to play as Sonic or Shadow may be disappointed, as character proportions and Sega’s stance against its mascots using guns make that unlikely. The tie-in could also line up with the release of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, which itself focuses on crossover content. #sega #shadowthehedgehog #sonicthehedgehog #fortnite #gaming
