Amazon has officially greenlit a Life is Strange TV adaptation, nearly a decade after it was first announced. Charlie Covell, known for The End of the F**ing World* and Kaos, will serve as showrunner and executive producer. The series will adapt the original game, following Max, a photography student who discovers she can rewind time while saving her best friend Chloe. As they investigate a classmate’s disappearance, the pair uncover the dark secrets of their town while facing an impossible life-or-death choice. It’s still unclear how the show will handle the game’s branching choices and multiple endings. Square Enix and Amazon MGM Studios are producing, with hopes the series can reignite interest in the franchise after the mixed reception of last year’s Life is Strange: Double Exposure. #lifeisstrange #gaming #tvshow #amazonprime #primevideo
