Oita Airport in Kunisaki has been officially rebranded as Oita Hello Kitty Airport. The makeover, which launched with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 13, runs through October 13 to align with Expo 2025 in Osaka. Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Kuromi marked the opening event. Visitors can enjoy themed signage, a Hello Kitty photo zone with giant bath buckets referencing Oita’s famous hot springs, and a souvenir shop offering limited-edition T-shirts, cookies, and luggage tags. One ticket please ✋ 📸 Sanrio Entertainmant Co., Ltd. #japan #travel #news #hellokitty #oita
